About the author
As a professional instructional designer, Lauren Lee strongly believes in education through fun. She was disappointed in how few fun yet educational and accurate books there are out there for new reptile owners. Bearded dragons make amazing pets, and through writing B Is For Beardie, Lauren wants to help new beardie owners start off successfully and ensure they have a long and happy beardie experience.
Lauren lives with her two girls in Northern Colorado.
They own several dogs and several reptiles. Their first reptile was their bearded dragon Little Man, who inspired this book.

Jess Morris is a digital artist and illustrator based in Weld County, Colorado. With a background in graphic design, software development, and book illustration, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to visual storytelling. Jess is passionate about breathing life into stories through expressive, character-driven artwork.
When she’s not creating, she works as a beverage burro handler alongside her miniature donkey, Spaceman. She cherishes quiet moments at home with her husband, two daughters, and a small menagerie of (very large) animals.

Meet Little Man!
Little Man is the Lee family's first bearded dragon and continues to be a beloved member of the family! His favorite things are finding funny ways to sleep, superworms, giving judgmental side-eye, and snuggling with his kids.
